Construction & Materials
Every fin we build is designed, foiled, and finished in house with a strong focus on quality and longevity. Driven by a genuine passion for surfcraft, we work closely with trusted local suppliers and carefully selected materials to produce fins that are built to last and feel right underfoot. From panel layups to final sanding, every step of the process is handled with care and attention to detail.
Materials
All panels are laid up by hand in-house using fiberglass and resin systems chosen for strength, flex and durability. Different constructions create different feelings, so materials are selected carefully depending on the fin design and intended use. The aim is to build fins that not only perform well, but also last and age properly after years of surfing.
Machining & Finishing
The process combines traditional methods with modern machining. CNC cutting is used to create accurate outlines and maintain consistency between sets, while the rest of the process is done by hand. Panels are laminated, cut, foiled, sanded and finished individually in small batches. Every fin passes through the workshop by hand from raw material to final product.
Small Batches
This isn’t mass production. Fins are made in small runs with a focus on quality over volume. Building products to last is an important part of reducing waste, and keeping production small allows better control over materials and the overall process. As the brand grows, the goal is to continue improving local production and building responsibly without losing the hands-on approach.
Quality Control
Because production is done in small batches, every set can be checked closely throughout the process. Foils, symmetry, fitment and finish are all inspected by hand before a fin leaves the workshop. We don't just make sure our fins perform as they should, we make sure they are aesthetically pleasing as possible.
Why It Matters
Crafting fins ourselves means a lot to us, as it gives us the freedom to create unique templates and ideas that would otherwise remain just concepts. In a world where so much is mass produced, we believe it’s important to keep this kind of craftsmanship alive. We also believe surfers should remain connected to the manufacturing process, helping preserve the true spirit and individuality that make surfing so special.
