Where It All Began
Panza Fins started with Josh making plywood fins in his parents’ garage. From those early experiments, he progressed into making solid fiberglass fins and eventually set up his own workshop on the south-east coast of Ireland, where he hand-foiled fins for local shapers and surfers.
Over the years, the range has been continually refined through testing and plenty of time in the water, using some of the best waves Ireland has to offer. Every model has grown from that hands-on process, with a focus on quality and performance while being as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
In 2025, Josh packed up the workshop in Ireland and moved to Sydney, Australia, bringing Panza Fins with him. Currently, Panza is nestled in Rhino Laminating, where we have the chance to work alongside some of the best shapers and board builders around.
Still Refining
Since moving operations to Sydney, Josh has been exposed to a vibrant surf culture and industry that has opened his eyes. Seeing a thriving longboard scene with deep-rooted history, alongside some of the best high-performance shapers, has been mind-opening and has changed the way we approach fin design.
Since being at Rhino Laminating, we have had the pleasure of making fins for some legends, including Maurice Cole, the Campbell Brothers, Steve O’Donnell and Blake Peters.
What we do
We offer our own range of fins, developed and refined over years of testing. Alongside wholesale fin supply and custom manufacturing, all produced in our Sydney factory, shipped worldwide.
